DUI drysuit rally days . . .

About 150 intrepid divers hit the water last week at Alabama Blue Water Adventures in Pelham to test dive new dry suits. The two-day dive event, held each spring, enables those without drysuits to experience what it's like to dive dry and warm regardless of the weather. Participants were able to pick the suit style and insulation combination that they wanted and to make instructor lead dives throughout the day. The event price (only $20) also included grilled hamburgers, hotdogs, and barbeque. Steve spent the whole day Sunday in the water leading dives and he was, of course, toasty warm in his custom CF200 suit. Two Choo Choo Diving & Aquatic Center divers, Keith Emery and John Haywood, even completed their Dry Suit Diver certification!
