What to expect . . .
• TOPSIDE - Your "Intro to Scuba" experience will begin with a tour of our facility and an in-depth look at the equipment that divers use. You will learn about popular diving destinations, how to become a certified diver, and complete the medical questionnaire and registration forms needed to dive in our pool. It may be necessary for you to consult a physician regarding your health, or medications you are taking, before your pool dive. For this reason, your TOPSIDE intro should be scheduled in advance of your pool dive.
• UNDERWATER - Next, it's off to our crystal clear, refreshing, 86º pool where you will learn how to assemble, adjust, and begin to dive with scuba equipment. You will learn how the equipment works, and learn and practice several basic scuba skills. Before you know it, you'll be having fun under the water. There will even be time to play a game of underwater frisbee!
As you prepare to leave, we will answer any questions you have about the complete "Learn to Scuba Dive" course and a world of diving opportunities. Best of all, you earn credit towards scuba certification for what you learned in your "Intro to Scuba" experience!
What does it cost? . . .
The fee for this fun, three hour "Intro to Scuba" experience is $49 per participant, payable at the time that your reservation is made. Your tuition includes classroom instruction, and use of all scuba equipment. There are no other charges.
